The online recruitment activity increased in eight of 20 industries monitored by the Monster Employment Index U.S. after the employment application online in the United States. With so many jobs being advertised online, and as being hired by posting online, it helps to know your way around a job search online. Here's what you need to know to find, and the earth, your dream job posted online.

Know where to look
You can not find employment if you do not know where to look. Start with sites like JobCareerVacancy.com. Just put "jobs" into a search engine and you'll have more hits than you know what to do with. To this end, you'll need a way to refine your search sites.

If you are looking for a job in an industry with which you are already familiar, take a look at the sites of big-name companies in your field. Almost every company will have a career section.

Better yet, industries often have a specific field sites, for example, check JobCareerVacancy.com for journalists in the United States, or law enforcement , firefighters and emergency medical personnel. The best way to find these sites is to either search for your job title and location, or by asking around your industry.

Keep it Professional
Once you find the job you want to ask, remember that the online application means that your computer skills will be immediately apparent. If you can not understand how to attach your resume to your email and the job requires computer skills, you can not make it past the recruiter's inbox. If you are unsure, ask a friend for help, or consider taking a basic computer skills course to perfect - and add it to your resume.

When you apply online, make sure you use a professional email address, and attach your CV in a word document with the saved file. Doc, no. Docx. If your potential employer can not open your resume, they will probably just delete it. Sending a file with a rarely can cause your email to end up in the spam folder.

Keep Track
Whether you apply online or in person, you need to keep track of companies and positions you have applied. The ease of online application makes it easier to send duplicates and forget the details of a job when you are contacted. If you have email, it's not a big deal, but if your potential employer calls you, you want to know who you are talking about and which position you are contacted.

Do not get stuck on the job title
Although you can consider yourself responsible for the day, the perfect job for you can be listed under a different job title. Try searching for synonyms, in this example consider sales manager or head of account, and if the site allows it, use search by category to get a broader view - just be sure you do not limit yourself or by category.

Do not get stuck in cyber-land, track jobs calling. This will show that you are serious about the position, and even if you are not good for the one you requested a follow-up call might give you an indication of a similar position. Again, keep things professional, call and tell the recruiter how desperate you are for the work will make you look immature and will not help you.
