You need a degree or combination of education and experience as described below to qualify for this position.
In addition to the educational requirements, we are looking for at least one year of specialized experience related to this position as described below:
The area of emphasis is evaluation of chemical process economics on the bench to full-plant scale, and characterization of macroeconomic and microeconomic impacts of green technologies and products.
To qualify for the Research GS-12 level, you need to have at least one year of full time experience defined as: evaluate chemical process economics; develop methods for characterization of economic impacts on products and processes; work as part of an interdisciplinary research and development team; OR Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in the academic discipline as described below.
To qualify for the GS-13 level, you need to have at least one year of full time experience defined as: evaluate chemical process economics on the design of chemical manufacturing facilities; develop methods for characterization of economic impacts on green products and processes; work as part of an interdisciplinary research and development team to manage environmental stressors.
Salary: $71,455.00 - $110,459.00 /year
