Incumbent will perform a variety of food service duties in support of the Veterans Canteen Service food operations. Incumbent may be assigned to perform duties in any of the following areas: kitchen, and/or any of the other food-related areas of the service as well as serving lines, etc. In each assigned areas and consistent with VCS food Standards, guidelines, and instructions, the incumbent assists with the preparation, and subsequent serving of prepared food items. The incumbent will assure all food, paper goods, forks, knives are stocked/maintained in preparation for the daily operation of assigned shops/areas. Assist with receiving and storing of food deliveries. The incumbent is required to operate equipment as required and in accordance with instructions. The incumbent may be required to operate a cash register in accordance with operating standards and instructions.
