Analyst, Business Systems Canadian Air Transport

Reporting to the Manager, Business Systems Management the Analyst, Business Systems is primarily responsible for clarifying new business systems requirements, planning and conducting business systems analysis, and streamlining existing processes to improve IM/IT efficiency.

Key Responsibility Areas

Business Operation Support and Continuous Improvement
Conduct feasibility studies, develop and review project proposals, RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs including statement of work, solution/service requirements and evaluation grids
Collect, document and validate business requirements, identify system requirements and create systems designs
Review, analyze, evaluate and/or develop detailed business and functional requirements, documentation, process flows and data models to contribute to the development of project plans including project charter, project deliverables, cost/benefits analysis, time line estimates, scope and control
Prepare accurate and detailed requirements specification documents for systems to meet business requirements
Design details/workflows of automated systems
Plan and coordinate unit, integration, and acceptance testing
Coordinate with the business units who test, validate, and evaluate new applications and functions, and determine issues in services and software
Research and maintain awareness of new technology developments, trends and emerging best practices in industry; cross-train and share expertise with other members of the development team

Salary: $68,983 - $91,977
