Senior Legal Advisor UEA TRA

Reporting to the Director of Legal Affairs, General Counsel will assist in the formulation of laws, proposals, advise the TRA on the legal aspects of various issues, prepare legal documents in the existing legal framework.

The General Counsel should have a good understanding of the legal structure existing in the UAE, particularly those that directly affect the TRA as Telecom Act, Ecommerce law, etc.

The incumbent will be responsible for training counsel, overseeing the maintenance of a database of different laws, contracts etc.

The incumbent will be responsible for providing legal support to advanced industries and all matters related to the regulation.

Qualification:
University degree in law

Experience:
At least 5-7 years, including high-level experience and a strong commercial and business with some exposure to computers and telecoms.

Skills:
Excellent Business Awareness.
Ability to interpret laws and identify risks involved.
Capable in Initiating Action.
Enthusiastic and pro-active team player, capable of working in an international and multicultural environment
