The incumbent serves as a liaison to the administrator / assistant administrator to provide advice and liaison on policy matters involving state, tribal, local police and the community's private security sector. Responsible for synchronization of internal and external communications and initiatives that involve law enforcement / security analysis, decision support and partnership with the national police and security professionals. Ensure that FEMA training, exercises, equipment and technical assistance are designed in a way that meets the unique needs of the state, tribal and local police.

Background and/or Security Investigation required
As a basic requirement for entry into the SES, applicants must provide proof of experience in progressively responsible leadership which is indicative of the ability of high-level executive management and directly related to skills and capabilities described under mandatory technical qualifications and basic skills executive. Typically, the experience of this nature has been gained at or above the GS-15 grade in the Federal service, or its equivalent with the state or local government, the private sector or nongovernmental organizations .
Salary: $119,554.00 - $179,700.00 /year
