Current career executives Senior Service (SES) Qualifications Review Board (QRB) certified graduates of a program to develop the candidate of SES, and those with SES reinstatement eligibility may be considered non-competitive for appointment to this position if they meet the mandatory requirements of technical qualification. Proof of eligibility is required non-competitive.

The Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Intelligence and espionage against (EN) is responsible for defending the DOE complex country from foreign penetration; coordinate the intelligence community's fight against nuclear terrorism; advise policy makers on threats and opportunities for U.S. national security in the nuclear, energy, cyber, and science and technology, the collection and dissemination of information in areas of expertise of DOE and DOE seeks technologies to solve intelligence problems. REQUIREMENTS:
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Background and/or Security Investigation is required
Position may involve some travel
Designated and/or Random Drug Testing required
New appointees must successfully complete a 1 year probationary period

You must meet the qualifying factors and management technique listed below. The failure of non-Senior Executive Service members to address each technical expertise required Manadatory (MTQ) and the statements basic qualifications Executive (ECQ) will result in disqualification of your application. Your application must demonstrate that you possess these qualifications. Please provide examples that are clear, concise, and emphasize your level of responsibility, scope and complexity of programs managed, program accomplishments, policy initiatives, and the level of contacts. All qualified candidates will be evaluated on the relevance of their experience, education, training, self-development, honors, awards and outside activities. Career Senior Executive Service members who apply are expected to meet only a MTQ.

Salary: $119,554.00 - $179,700.00 /year
