This position is a education program specialist in the Office of Education (loopful) primary and secondary academic programs and improving teacher quality (AITQ) Group teacher quality (TQG). The position performs a professional job-oriented improvement of American education. The program objectives are achieved through the management of grants, contracts and loans, as well as leadership and professional skills.
REQUIREMENTS:

must complete a probationary period of one year,

Selective Factor: Applicants must have knowledge and experience of implementing or evaluating programs and policies to improve the quality of primary and / or secondary and professional development, or providing technical assistance to States and districts to improve the quality of primary school teachers and / or secondary and professional development that was obtained through employment with one of the following: (1) U.S. Department of Education, (2) an agency State education, (3) the central office of a school district, (4) a state or a national nonprofit whose mission includes improving the quality of teachers, or (5) an entity that evaluates programs and educational practices. (Candidates who do not meet the selective factor will be automatically considered inadmissible for this position).
Salary: $123,758.00 - $155,500.00 /year
