The Division of Human Resource Development (HRD) is a focal point for NSF's agency-wide commitment to improving the quality and excellence in teaching and research in STEM broaden participation by historically underrepresented groups - minorities, women and persons with disabilities. QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent experience in a discipline of science, engineering, mathematics, or STEM education. In addition, candidates must have at least six years of successful research, research administration, and / or management experience relevant to the position. Ideal candidates must have significant experience in teaching undergraduate or graduate, or in a community college, and demonstrated leadership in the education of undergraduate or graduate. Also desirable is knowledge of the scientific community in general and strong skills in written and oral communication. All appointees are expected to function effectively in specific programs and as part of a team, to contribute to the coordination with offices throughout the Foundation and other government agencies and federal and state organizations the private sector.
Salary: $105,211.00 - $163,957.00 /year
