Responsibilities
a) Managing the new product launches, by: analyzing information of new products. Conduct a feasibility assessment and the potential market for new products. Establishment of product positioning. Liaise with suppliers, the APO (and other units of the company product sales) for the launch of new products. The chair and the facilitation of cross-functional committee to launch the new product launches. Procedures for launching and coordinating schedules. Prepare the proposal for approval launch top management. Prepare sales and marketing strategy. Introduce and promote new products to sales channels
b) Manage the lifecycle of products from: Monitoring the performance of sales and profitability of the product. Demand forecast turnover for the product. Tracking the changing dynamics of the relevant market for the product. Monitoring the effectiveness of product strategy and promotions. Analysis of success factors and to exploit new opportunities. Analyze the root causes of gaps and develop action-cons. Make adjustments to the strategy of market penetration of additional products. Planning for the termination or replacement strategy for products that reach the end of life.
c) market research and intelligence, by: Monitoring activities in the competitive market. Establish a benchmarking on new competitive products, pricing, features and promotional strategies. Stay up to date with market developments and industry.
d) Develop product knowledge by: Widely read the product information documents and launch initiative for hands on familiarization with the products Participate in conferences, seminars, workshops and other training to keep updated with the products society and technology.
Salary: MYR 3500-4400
