Each child is born with the right to survive - yet thousands die needlessly every day. Save the Children's global campaign, everyone is determined to end this injustice and save lives of children. We address the most common causes of neonatal deaths and infant, such as diarrhea, pneumonia and malaria, providing proven solutions are within reach of every child.
Working with others, we believe we can succeed. We are building a movement in over sixty countries to support the action to save lives of children and encourage leaders to live up to their promises to children.
This role will be to provide the student with work experience in a busy campaign team for an international NGO, supporting the delivery of our most ambitious campaign yet - with the aim of achieving the Millennium Development Goal 4 . You manage a range of exciting projects for the campaign. This may include supporting the implementation of projects of the global campaign, the production of written communications to engage Save the Children colleagues in the country, and work with a member of the global and country to assemble the materials related to fundraising and project monitoring and evaluation.
You will have excellent communication and organizational skills, including ability to meet deadlines, working with people of different cultural backgrounds in a face paced and rapidly changing environment. You will also need a high level of computer knowledge, a degree (or working to complete one) and a valid work permit in the UK.
