Global Fund Technical Advisor - PSI

The Global Fund (GF) Technical Advisor will be responsible for providing technical and program management of programs PSI GF. He / she will provide technical support and management platforms to implement efficient and robust GF Principal Recipient (PR) and sub-recipient (SR) price. This position will be based in Washington, DC with about 25-30% of international travel and reports to the Director of International Organizations.

Responsibliities: 
Provide technical assistance in the field and headquarters staff of the negotiation process for the GF grants PR, including: the development and adherence to a schedule for signing of grant development and implementation of systems required by the LFA assessment, development and implementation of quality assurance systems and data collection, and SR management of field staff support to effectively liaise with stakeholders of the Global Fund at the national and international
Identify and disseminate information on best practices, lessons learned, and facilitate the exchange of information between the programs PSI Leading teams to effectively develop and win new round of negotiations and proposals of the RCC for eligible countries establish and implement systems, policies and procedures to improve the operations of the Global Fund to work with PSI investigators main specific disease (IP) and research staff to provide technical support and training for PR (and SR as necessary) on the monitoring of GF and evaluation (M & E) indicators, tools and systems Provide leadership in the development of PSI work with other multilateral organizations, including UN agencies and the Bank Global support to the management and administration of the Department of International Organizations

Qualifications: 
relevant graduate degree (MPH, MBA, etc.) or experience equivalent to at least five years experience in program management and implementation in developing countries, including at least two years living and working in the field of knowledge and experience with the Global Fund policies and the implementation of the program strongly preferred Fluency in English, Masters or a strong knowledge of written French and excellent communication skills required for capacity building and Excellent training skills experience in budgeting and financial capacity has preferred to work under pressure
