KHRP is looking for a fundraising officer to work closely with the CEO and the board and staff in its London-based six person offices, to build its donor base. This is an opportunity to play a key role in a small but internationally respected human rights organization based in central London. The successful candidate will have experience of at least two years of fundraising, with an emphasis on grants and trust funds. Experience in fundraising legacies would be an advantage. The incumbent will be responsible for identifying and pursuing diverse funding streams; requests in writing on the back of the report and letters to meet current and future progress "guidelines, monitoring the implementation of projects to ensure donor donor guidelines are followed, liaising with donors and other stakeholders, and ensure that proposals for new projects meet existing and / or future guidelines for donors .
The attention to detail and good administrative skills and research will be among your strengths. The incumbent will work closely with the Director of Finance and report to the CEO. The incumbent will also supervise interns fundraising.
Responsibilities include:
Study of funding possibilities. The primary responsibility with the support of CEO, general counsel and chief financial officer, the implementation of annual fundraising and long term, such as research opportunities for grants, using international directories and going to CSR programs. Identify new funding opportunities and ensure that key members of the team and the networks are used for funding. Correspondence with potential donors to gather information, guidelines, etc. Maintaining and strengthening relationships with sources of core funding. Grant writing and reporting in line with donor requirements specified, providing time for new applications and the back of reports are followed. Communicate the work of KHRP and potential supporters.

The person must have an interest in the work of the KHRP and have a strong desire to contribute to the development of the organization as a whole. He / she must be motivated and able to work on their own initiative, in coordination with other staff. He / she will experience periods of attention to detail and meeting with ease. Essential Skills / Knowledge: 1-2 years experience in fundraising, with an emphasis on government funding, intergovernmental and private trust. Exceptional organizational and administrative skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, including evidence of structured thinking and the ability to inspire confidence and enthusiasm in others.
