Responsibilities Under the direct supervision of the Director of the Arab and knowledge under its control, theincumbent will be responsible for the following: - Contribute to the knowledge of the project manager and core team by performing tasks such specificresearch prescribed by the Director of the project, including those related to all statistics, data, andinformation (quantitative and qualitative) in the AKR - To review the literature on background knowledge, the digitization of sources of field developments, and the realization of extensive research on the specific substantive areas, prepare background papers relating to the report, including table of contents, index, bibliography, list of reference materials, and other content as determined by the project UNDP Directorand

Supporting the build-easy access "knowledge data bank database /" for AKR. Thisincludes suggesting the structure of the database, what information to collect, andindicating the potential of the analysis and results .- Managing information and maintain a computerized file of all data collection statistics tothe issue of knowledge in the Arab region .- Supervise and manage all phases of field investigations for AKR from the conceptualization phase, commissioning the design for the conduction of the survey, data collection, cleaning , tabulation and presentation.

familiar with office software applications.

high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel

knowledge of SPSS and other software for data analysis

Fluency in Arabic and English.

At least a master's degree in statistics, mathematics, sociology, economics, education, education, social sciences, political science or related field

Five to ten years of professional experience in the field from which two are in the field ofresearch. Experience in the production of report is considered an advantage
