UX Design Lead at Bitly

It is a high-level position with a potential role of leadership that the team grows. Specific responsibilities include: being a major contributor to the creation of a new consumer product. Owner overall responsibility for all aspects of the user experience on Bitly. Create and maintain a uniform appearance and feel across multiple brand experiences for web, mobile, and tablet. Work directly with engineers and products on a daily basis in an iterative development. Conduct research of the user (field research and usability testing), the behavior of users of the model (scenarios and characters), to develop the ISU (wireframes, prototypes, etc.), and contribute to the development visual design and criticism (models). Be an advocate for usability, accessibility, and enjoyment.

Ideally, you also have: Significant experience in the real world (at least 5 years) in making design decisions for consumers world-wide sites. Ability to invent new creative approaches to design problems long and complex. A sense of visual design and a clear view. Technical enough to read and modify the code if necessary. Excellent leadership, communication and teamwork. A sense of fun and healthy irreverence. Desire to change the world.
