General Ledger is currently an open opportunity at Senior Accountant to provide accounting services to savings and labor ("PWI") business unit. Senior Accountant This position will be responsible for accounting and financial reporting numerous activities supporting PWI different legal entities, working closely with the controller PWI and finance teams to provide accounting support for the organization of PWI, and to interact directly with the external auditors during quarterly reviews and year end audits. In addition, this person will assist the efforts of different transformation to improve and formalize internal controls surrounding the accounting for the company PWI. These efforts include the improvement and standardization of accounting practices of different legal entities, improvement and documentation of accounting processes and controls, and the development of improved reporting of accounting results. This person will also contribute to technological upgrading, as required, to meet the needs of the accounting function PWI.
Key Responsibilities
Actively participate in month-end accounting close PWI assist in the timely, accurate and complete financial reporting Provide business unit (s) with comments on the financial well-written work of the monthly results with others (c that is to say their respective finance / accounting departments) to prepare account reconciliations Maintenance of the company and the legal entity of transfer pricing agreements Supporting the achievement of regulatory filings Perform major account / cost analysis, identify and interpret trends Prepare, reconcile and communicate accounting information Participate in response to requests from management, auditors and regulatory agencies on accounting policies, procedures and problems Assist in the implementation of new policies accounting policies and procedures and administering existing policies and procedures Assist in the development and implementation of special projects assigned to assist in the process of annual audit of the external auditors, including financial statements and audit schedules to keep course of business and the impact of accounting issues on the business
Educational Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting and 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting CPA is best skills and knowledge on the hands work style - "can do" attitude with a strong desire to make things happen Demonstrates the enthusiasm, energy, execution, and the desire to learn team player who takes the initiative and works constructively with others to achieve team goals Excellent communication skills Analytical, logical, methodical An intellectually curious, and ability to change agent to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines Ability to work at different levels of detail and be able to concisely summarize complex issues Excellent planning, prioritization, resolution problems and organizational skills Willingness to learn the financial systems and reporting tools, multidimensional (eg, Oracle and Essbase)
