Medical Cost Project Manager is responsible for developing and managing projects that the costs of health care and the impact or use with strong skills in project management, Six Sigma expertise and skills influence . Project Managers medical costs will be needed to analyze the utilization of medical providers, including physicians, hospitals and ancillary to identify trends and opportunities for pipeline projects. In this role, you will be expected to:
- Completion of projects across various sectors
- Make presentations to management on project status
- Ensure projects are completed on time and in scope

Requirements Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree. - 5 + years experience in a managed care organization, health insurer, or as a consultant, strongly prefer the management of the network and or clinical experience is a plus - 3 + years of management experience Project Manager - 3 + years and review applications for payment, the cost analysis and reporting experience. - 2 years experience with coding (ICD-9/CPT) and methodologies such as reimbursement RBRVS, ASC / APC Groupers, hospital payment methodologies. - Excellent communication skills verbal and written. - Advanced critical thinking skills and problem solving, including the ability to systematically analyze complex problems, draw relevant conclusions, and successfully design / implement solutions. - Excellent organizational skills and change management - Master of the applications of databases and spreadsheets such as Excel costume, Microsoft Office, including Visio and Project. Cognos, an asset - Strong facilitation skills. - Project management certification, more. - Green Belt / Black Belt preferred
