The medical assistant will be made phone calls and then conduct additional tests and examinations necessary for the health fairs in the clinic with SMA.
Responsible for the collection and documentation of patient information needed to perform appropriate tests and examinations. Documents all contacts, test results and measures taken in the medical record. Works with other clinical staff license to ensure the completion of these tests and examinations are carried out with precision the members direct contact through telephone outreach for testing and examinations as required. Works as a member of the clinical team to raise awareness and facilitate care. Help your colleagues functions upon request, to include but not limited to float to other areas. Follow standard protocols, processes and policies to include but not limited to the following: Recharge drugs, preventive services, conditions of management and management of illnesses such as signed by the department head or delegate .
Experience:
2 years experience in an ambulatory setting required a high school diploma or GED required. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant school required. CPR certification or willing to obtain requried within 30 days of hire. Must be willing to float to various clinical parameters SMA participating in health fairs. Knowledge: Ability to perform complex tasks a medical assistant, including testing and treatment in the clinic. Able to coordinate the necessary consensus to implement the plan for the medical patient. Ability to demonstrate knowledge or ability to learn and apply functions. Skills: Good communication skills, excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills. Must have computer skills, windows based applications, organizational skills.
