This position reports to the Treasurer within the Office of Management - Office of Finance and Administration. The Operations Unit provides cash payment processing and related services to Treasury and other headquarters units and a range of support services operations in country offices. Under the general direction of the Treasurer, the Director of Operations involves the provision of all services and receiving payment for the operations of UNDP headquarters and other UN agencies in the service level agreements established. The operations manager oversees the payment services provided by UNDP country offices and other UN agencies that are processed by the interface for the electronic transfer of funds with Bank of America and provides expert advice on EFT treatment issues. The operations manager oversees the delivery of back office and compliance with investment guidelines in the conduct of the investment unit investment activities of UNDP and exchange.
