Global Strategy Group seeks a highly motivated manager and focused on the results of the Strategy and Business Development to be part of a team that supports the CEO and the Executive Committee on policy issues most pressing issues in society. Members of our Global Strategy Group is a history with leading strategy consulting firms or investment banks, or they are long-time veteran of the company with significant experience of operation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop expertise in strategic analysis, to conduct a variety of complex strategic development initiatives and business and have exposure to senior management. In addition, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to drive global initiatives in the McGraw-Hill Companies. This position reports to the Senior Vice President of Global Strategy.
The main responsibilities include:
Potential projects cover a range of strategic initiatives: assessment of growth opportunities in emerging markets and prioritizing the expansion of the market entry of numerical analysis of strategies for recovery processing for the evaluation of companies difficulty Strategic great design potential acquisitions of major potential strategic partnerships Other responsibilities include: Identifying key strategic concepts and frameworks relevant to the business and to hire key people as a suitable partner with businesses, segment and leadership of the business unit to develop strategy and plans to achieve optimal levels of growth and relevance for our companies work with key business areas such as HR, communications and investor services to communicate a vision strategic groups
Requirements:
The ideal candidate must have an MBA business school at least six years of business experience with at least three years in a level position post-MBA in a management consulting firm at the top or towards the corporate strategy from a Blue Chip company. The successful candidate must have been promoted at least once from a position of post-MBA. Experience in one or more of the following sectors - financial information, education, business information, or the media. Experience in strategy and one or more of the following functional - Financial analysis and evaluation, business development, digital strategy and business development international. Excellent quantitative analysis and a creative approach to problem solving
