Adjustment and the Department's reporting of the General Assembly and Conference Management internship is two months with possibility of extension, pending on the needs of the department. The internship is unpaid and full-time.
Trainees have responsibilities to five days a week (35 hours) under the supervision of a staff member in the department or office to which they are assigned. Everyday tasks depend on the formation of the individual trainees assigned office and the probationary period. Duties may include, but are not limited to: Assistance in drafting and preparing official documents analysis and synthesis of conferences and meetings to document, support for legal research and the Internet during lectures, meetings and sessions of intergovernmental bodies working on the web presentation of the project evaluation for collecting statistics Media Analysis Speechwriting

Applicants must be accepted within education, enrolled or graduated from a graduate program (second university degree or higher), or have completed at least four years time study at a university or equivalent institution towards the graduation. Be computer literate in standard software applications. Have a demonstrated interest urges UN work and personal commitment to the ideals of the Charter. Work Experience Applicants are not required to have experience to participate. English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. Fluency in spoken and written English is required for courses. Knowledge of an official UN language is an asset.
