Duties and Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the specialist Infrastructure and Agro-industries include but are not limited to:-Working closely with IFC and relationship managers with client companies in the food industry and infrastructure to identify potential opportunities for infrastructure and food PPP-Work closely with the World Bank and member governments to do likewise identify these potential opportunities for PPPs in infrastructure and agro- industry in sub-Collaborate with public and private partners to develop infrastructure and agribusiness opportunities in PPP transactions bankable work-around to deal with IFC investments in PPP, including investments that lead the sales teams, integrate, considerations of public policy, and environmental and social future investments
Selection criteria:
-University Degree-At least 12 years of investment and industry experience and a proven track record in originating, structuring and closing complex transactions. -Deep knowledge of the delivery of basic services in infrastructure, including major private providers of these services, particularly in sub-Deep knowledge of agribusiness-Clear understanding of motives and needs of commercial investors , and public policy considerations involved in the private sector delivery of infrastructure services-Ability to lead large teams and complex initiatives strong organizational skills, commitment to the World Bank Group and IFC's mission, strategy and values, motivation, to support development in Sub-Saharan-Excellent management of relationships-Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues from various cultural backgrounds,-Ability to interact directly and independently with senior government officials, results oriented and strong customer focus. -Comfortable working in an environment with a high degree of complexity of communication skills, Excellent English and French
