Our client, a successful British Columbia Real Estate Investment and Development based organization with assets in British Columbia is currently looking to hire an assistant to join their growing team in Vancouver. By leveraging off the extensive experience of senior management, our client is involved in all aspects of the development process, including land acquisition, project design, financing, marketing and leasing operations ownership and disposition. With a focus on developing shopping centers around the key anchor tenants, our client is well positioned to maximize returns and develop centers of impressive detail.
The assistant will be responsible for leasing with a key objective of the solicitation and identification of independent and regional tenants for projects in BC. The role will also involve a myriad of other integral functions, including but not limited to the following: Create marketing materials for use in advertising of vacant space available and maintain lists of commercial properties on a regular basis, and facilitate coordinate with the agents authorized to make administrative tasks including the drafting of the offer, the transfer of material and addenda and preparing and drafting the leases for the final exam, the rate of research, comparison and other information to determine the rate of IPO, perform other tasks. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience of at least two years in the property management industry, have been exposed to documents leasing various ideally in the retail industry and have a solid understanding of the processes involved. You should also be a strong team player and enjoy working in this environment.
