The successful candidate will join a fast paced design team in-house development of furniture Motoryacht current / new moldings and GRP components. Must have creative energy to be able to design furniture for some small areas of unusual shape, to make full use of all available space. They will have the freedom to create furniture and exciting presentations, helping to grow the company as they continue to develop products class leader. They work closely with other departments to produce accurate 2D/3D drawings they will then see the production. Above all, they must be confident and able to think quickly on their feet and to accept new challenges on a daily basis. Salary negotiable DOE.

Key skills

• Design degree (Automotive / Product Design) BA or BSc. • 3D CAD - Good knowledge of Unigraphics NX or similar package is essential for this role • 2D CAD - AutoCAD • General computer skills - Word / Excel • Good understanding of materials and basic properties of GRP / Wood / Steel & Alloys • high awareness of mechanisms and mechanical principles • Strong conceptual skills - Marker / Photoshop • A more made learning fast and an independent

• Early basic role of conceptual work around the new rules and style of furniture. • Development of CAD 2D general arrangement plan sections and elevations. • Development of 3D free-form surfaces using a combination of hand drawings and 3D CAD modeling. • Organized and detail of the 1:01 scale models of major areas. • Presentation of concepts for approval at the director level. • Work closely with development team as they take ideas to production. The base hours standard working week is 39 hours, which is as follows: Monday to Thursday - 7:30 to 4:30 p.m.. Friday - 7:30 to 12:30. Breaks are 9:30 to 9:45 & 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m..
