Consultant, MICS Sampling - UNICEF

To ensure this goal, UNICEF needs the support of external expertise and sampling of the assignment under this contract will be: 1) To prepare recommendations for the preparation of the Manual MICS5 List 2 ) Provide recommendations for the preparation of the sample mass MICS5 and sampling error calculation programs and associated guidelines, 3) Prepare the sample presentation for the Workshop MICS5 Survey design by going review the submission and relevant documents associated with the presentation MICS4, 4) Review the English, French and Spanish sections and chapters relevant MICS4 Manual on sampling and provide a written evaluation to help guide the preparation of the Manual MICS5

Key skills, technical knowledge and experience required: At least a Master's or equivalent sampling or statistics, with particular expertise in the sampling of at least 15 years of experience in the design of samples for household surveys (experience in countries without recent census information highly desirable) around the globe must have expertise in the sampling methodology of MICS and / or Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) training Experience Proven experience of working in developing excellent communication and interpersonal skills Fluency in English and at least one of the following languages: Spanish, French Proven ability to work in a multicultural environment
