Newport City Council is currently looking for an experienced Building Surveyor to carry out varied aspects of planned Building works on our commercial premises.
You will have experience in carrying out Building Surveys, Specifications, Tendering, Site Supervision and budget monitoring.
As well as having the necessary technical skills and knowledge, you should have a minimum of HNC in an appropriate discipline, and three years relevant experience gained in the public sector.
This position will be a 1 year fixed term contract directly employed by NCC
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check
Salary: £24,646 - £26,276
Location : Newport
